Monocraft App
Privacy policy
Last updated 9 October 2026
Monocraft Tech Studio (“we”), registered in Malaysia, makes the Monocraft App for the owners and staff of service businesses — aircon servicing, cleaning and similar — that subscribe to Monocraft Service OS.
The business you work for (“your employer”) decides who has an account and what is recorded about its jobs and customers. For that information your employer is in charge; we keep and process it on its behalf. This policy covers the App. A business’s own customers are covered by that business’s privacy notice.
What the App collects
- Account: your name and mobile number, entered by your employer, and the company code you sign in with.
- Sign-in: a one-time code sent to your mobile number by WhatsApp. Codes expire after 5 minutes. After you sign in, the App keeps a sign-in token in your phone’s secure storage.
- Work: the jobs assigned to you and what you add to them — arrival, before and after photos, notes, checklists, extra work you propose and the customer’s signature. Jobs show the customer’s name, address and access notes so you can do the work.
- Owner mode: if you are an owner, the bookings, staff, services and working hours you manage.
- Notifications: a push token from your phone, a device label such as “iPhone”, and your App language, so we can tell you about your jobs in your language.
Face ID and fingerprint are checked by your phone. We never receive biometric data. The App uses the camera and photo library only when you add a photo to a job.
What the App does not do
No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no analytics tools, and no selling or renting of personal data. The App does not read your location: “Navigate” opens Google Maps or Waze with the job’s address.
Why we use it
To sign you in, show you your jobs, record the work for your employer and its customers, tell you when a job is assigned, moved or cancelled, and keep the service secure — for example by limiting sign-in attempts. We use it only to provide the service your employer subscribes to.
Who else handles it
- OVHcloud hosts our servers in Singapore.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers notifications to your phone.
- Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform delivers sign-in codes.
These providers handle data only to provide their service to us. We do not share personal data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How it is kept safe
Data is stored on servers in Singapore and always sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Each business’s data is kept in its own separate space, and only the people who run and support the service can reach it, only when they need to.
How long it is kept
For as long as your employer subscribes and keeps you on its team. Sign-in codes expire after 5 minutes. A phone’s push token is removed when you sign out of that phone or when it stops working. When your employer removes you or closes its account, see Delete your account.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, as Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 allow. Your employer manages your account, so ask them first, or write to support@monocrafttechstudio.com and we will reply within 21 days. You can turn off notifications at any time in your phone’s settings.
Children
The App is a work tool for business staff and is not meant for children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. For important changes we will also tell the businesses that use the App.
